      Why start immersion in nursery school?

Learning a language from the age of 18 months occurs intuitively and naturally, at a time favorable for rapid acquisition and when the child is not inhibited when expressing himself or herself freely. Learning which is accessible to all doesn’t require too much effort on the part of the child.

      The advantages of bilingualism

o   School evaluations of students who have been taught in a bilingual environment show very positive results.

o   Students who have experienced bilingual education usually become more tolerant and open-minded in comparison to students who only speak one language.

o   Children can also become fully proficient in the second language without losing their competencies in their native language. Bilingual teaching can also prepare them to learn other languages more easily.

o   Children develop skills to learn and think critically at an earlier age

o   Children can comprehend abstract notions more easily (such as mathematics)
